This modification was needed in order to model the fact that CN no longer flows freight traffic north of Squamish BC. CPRS-KCS Merger Update

The US Surface Transportation Board granted final approval of the CPRS-KCS deal on March 15, 2023. The merger was completed on April 14, 2023. This new Class I railroad company will be called Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited and will operate under the reporting mark CPKC.


Please note that the CPRS-KCS merger will not be reflected in the PC*Miler Rail v31.0 product release.


We are planning to model the first phase of the CPRS-KCS merger in our data in the PC*Miler Rail v31.1 product release. However, the actual delivery date of this data enhancement may be subject to change.
