No matches were found in the database. Check spelling on a station name, or format if using a station code.

STATE ABBREVIATION REQUIRED

Station name is missing, or input does not include a space or comma between the station name and state abbreviation; or there is no state abbreviation provided with an ERPC.

STATION NAME MUST BE 20 CHARACTERS OR LESS

Input of more than 20 characters for a station name is not accepted. This is a rare case, usually the first 20 characters of the entered station name will be accepted if there is a match in the database.

3-3-3 MUST BE 12 CHARACTERS OR LESS

Input of more than 12 characters for an ERPC is not accepted. This is a rare case, usually the first 12 characters of the entered ERPC will be accepted if there is a match in the database.

SPLC MUST BE NUMERIC

If “SPLC” is the selected format, input must be numeric.

SPLC HAS MAXIMUM 9 DIGITS

SPLC input cannot be more than 9 digits long.

FSAC MUST BE NUMERIC

If “FSAC” is the selected format, input must be numeric.

FSAC HAS MAXIMUM 5 DIGITS

FSAC input cannot be more than 5 digits long.

INVALID STATE ABBREVIATION

State abbreviation input is not a valid jurisdiction.

For single route entry, a junction is required between two stations that were entered. Click the link in the message to open the Junction Helper or use the AutoRouter. Or the station that triggered the warning can be deleted (<F8>).

BAD LOCATION-RAILROAD COMBINATION

The railroad that was entered does not serve the entered location.

RAILROAD NOT FOUND

The railroad that was entered does not have a match in the database. For the correct SCAC, refer here. 

OPTIONS SET TO EXCLUDE INTERMODAL-ONLY STATIONS

To include intermodal-only stations, select the Routes tab > Options and choose “Include” in the Intermodal-Only Stations drop-down.

THE STATION ENTERED IS A NON-INTERMODAL STATION

Intermodal is selected as the route type, and the station entered is a non-intermodal station. Change either the station or the route type.
