When closing the PC*MILER UI, do you receive an error such as this one?
If so, browse to the location referenced in the exception error and open the log file. Does it contain a message similar to the one below? If so, then this is just a simple Windows permissions issue.
Fixing the error
To resolve it, you have to grant all users or user groups Full control to the PC*MILER directory. (Default Location: C:\ALK Technologies\PCMILERxx). In Windows:
- Browse to the install directory for PC*MILER.
- Right-click the PC*MILER folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
- Click Edit and check Full control under Permissions for Authenticated Users.
- Click Apply to save your changes.
